Derek Murphy, a tax specialist since 1963, joined UHY Hacker Young in April 1973 and has been involved in all aspects of corporate taxation work. His primary involvement is with the taxation structuring of commercial transactions.
His vast experience with corporate finance work, over the last 20 plus years, includes flotations, company purchases, sales and demergers and due diligence work.
Derek is also regularly involved with structuring inward and outward investment and related transfer pricing and controlled foreign corporation issues.
He is responsible for corporate tax compliance and planning matters for a substantial portfolio of clients involved in a diverse range of activities.
