Matthew joined UHY Hacker Young in January 2003, having qualified in 1993 with a top 30 London firm. He was made a partner within the London office Business Advisory Services department in 2008.
Matthew has a broad range of client experience managing audit and non-audit assignments of varying sizes across a range of sectors. He has expertise in advising family owned companies, from small owner managed businesses to large family controlled groups, as well as currently acting for a number of UK subsidiary companies of overseas based groups.
In addition to the preparation of accounts from audit exempt small companies to audited consolidated groups, he has a wealth of general experience including forecasts, corporation tax planning and compliance, financial due diligence reporting, and other ad hoc work and general accounting advice.
Matthew is happily married with two children and is currently a governor at the primary school they attend.
